Highly Recommended: The Stone People's sweat lodge ceremony provides you with an opportunity for prayer for yourself, for other people, for your community, for the earth, for all your relations. Spend some quiet time reflecting on the healing you wish to pray for on all these levels. Get clear about your intentions and bring them with an open heart to the ceremony.
We recommend that you reduce dairy and caffeine intake 24 hours prior to entering the lodge. Drink plenty of water and increase your intake of root vegetables(carrots, potatoes, beets, onions, etc.) All of this will help to ground you in preparation for the lodge.

On Site Preparations: You will have opportunity to make prayer ties before the Lodge begins (arrive no later than 12:30). There is a medicine wheel on the property, which you are also welcome to experience before or afterthe sweat.

What to Bring: 2 towels, light/loose clothing to wear in the lodge (shorts, t-shirt, bathing suit), comfortable change of clothes, light food to share.
People are invited to bring simple food to share after the sweat lodge ceremony. Please bring only "finger food" that does not require refrigeration, preparation or dishes for serving. We also ask that you take home any food you bring that does not get eaten.

We do not charge for ceremony. A contribution ($20 suggested) to cover expenses (stones, wood, insurance, lodge repairs) from those who are able is always welcome.

Women on their moon time (menstruating) are welcome in this sweat lodge ceremony. This lodge is open to all people. No reservations are required.

Please note that people under the age of 18 must have a parent's permission and signature to participate in the sweat. If you need a parental permission form, print it from here an bring it signed to the ceremony.
