Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu
May 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu was developed by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi incorporating 9 schools of koryu arts. Koryu refers to the traditional martial arts of feudal Japan “old ways”.
Training in the Bujinkan focuses on strategy and tactics of utilizing taijutsu (complete body movement) and mindset. Leverage, distance, and timing are essential elements as opposed to strength and speed. Through consistent training one can harness the gift of a benevolent heart, protecting oneself and others, ultimately an impactful utility to the community.
Anthony Ola started training in the Bujinkan in 2001. Throughout the years he trained with senior instructors across the United States and directly from the sources in Japan. Additionally, he leverages previous experience in law enforcement and training military personnel, but more importantly his years of life experience as a son, and older brother, a husband, and leader within his profession.
